Account Deletion
If you wish to delete your Yana account, you have two options:
From the app
Go to Settings → Profile → Delete Account. You will be asked to share your reason for leaving, and then confirm the action. Once confirmed, all information you have shared will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
By email
Send a request to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Include your full name and the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 20 business days.
What happens to your data?
When your account is deleted, all information you shared with Yana is permanently removed and cannot be recovered. In accordance with Mexican law (LFPDPPP), certain data may be retained for up to 5 years for legal compliance purposes.
What happens if you have a subscription?
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Premium subscription. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription directly through Google Play or iTunes before deleting your account.
